What this site is

Cinder Block Calculator (cinderblockcalculator.net) is an independent web calculator. It estimates how many cinder blocks — also called concrete blocks or CMUs — you need for a wall, then optionally estimates mortar, grout fill, and cost from prices you enter.

Calculations run in your browser. There is no account, no paywall, and no requirement to send us your project details.

What it is not

This is not a construction company, supplier, or engineering firm. The calculator does not inspect a site, size reinforcement, or replace drawings, building codes, or a qualified mason or engineer. Results are estimates based on the dimensions and assumptions you choose.

How we work

• Formulas live in a dedicated calculation engine, separate from the interface.
• Assumptions — such as mortar yield and grout volume — are shown with the results.
• We do not invent “average local prices.” Cost lines stay blank until you enter a quote.
